Build Alla Prima oil painting techniques and confidence with your personal mentor Kai Lun Qu.

Together you will follow a weekly training structure with live interactive demos as well as personal critiques to sharpen your skills.

If you are looking for a solid group of like-minded artists to work alongside, maintain motivation, and grow together, then this is the program for you.

Kai takes you through a cycle of constructive exercises each week so that you can develop confidence in advanced techniques.

This program requires 2 hours per week to work alongside Kai during live lesson demos which will fuel your own studio practice outside of these zoom working sessions.

Program Details

This Mentorship is temporarily on break. Apply for the waiting list and be notified when it begins again.
Join Kai and develop your Alla Prima oil painting technique in an easy going and fun setting. Join in weekly demos and small group critiques as you tackle a variety of subjects including pop culture icons. This program is great for artists of all skill levels.
Tuition: $250 per month until cancel with 2 weeks notice.
Format: 2 Hour Weekly Live Group Sessions/Critiques + Past Recordings
Availability: Temporarily on Break Wednesdays 5-7 PM PST/ 6-8 PM MST


What if I can't make it to live sessions?

Each live session will be recorded for unlimited HD replay as long as you are in the program. Take as much time as you need to review Kai's demo session recordings. Then put in the time to deliberately practice each week so you fully absorb the new techniques. 

How long is the program?

This program is designed to help you create a consistent studio practice with increased productivity. Most artists benefit from at least 6 months of training to be independent and maintain the same level of practice after the program. However, the length of time that suits you best may be longer or shorter than 6 months depending on your preferences, budget, and learning goals.
