Dynamic Composition - Directing the Eye

What makes a painting truly gripping? In this powerful session, fine artist Keith Bond breaks down the art of dynamic composition—showing how master artists use shape, value, and rhythm to guide the viewer’s eye and create visual impact.

Introduced by David Baral, who also fields live questions, this presentation explores how great compositions grab attention and pull you in. Using a combination of famous masterpieces and Keith’s own work, you’ll learn how strong design choices can transform a painting from good to unforgettable.

Whether you're painting landscapes, figures, or abstracts, this course gives you the tools to think like a visual director—guiding the gaze and engaging the viewer from the first glance.
